The Clear approach to Conservatories and Orangeries
Here at Apropos we are architecturally skilled in the development of orangeries but these structures weren't always used as social spaces. Orangeries were once used for the propagation of oranges and lemons and in historical times were crafted from stone with a glass top. This isn't the way that we construct our orangeries today with our prefered materials being aluminium and glass. The modern uses for orangeries are usually as an extra room to relax and enjoy the outdoors from within the comfort of your own home.
We are experts when it comes to beautifully designed orangeries and conservatories for your home or office. Some businesses have added conservatories as an escape from the normal grey and dull modern office environment allowing workers to focus and enjoy meetings rather than be bored and encased in a stuffy space.
Conservatories are a nice way to invite the outside in, with rooms completely created from glass and aluminum. Conservatories existed in 1837, when Queen Victoria first took the throne and were a symbol of status and wealth. Conservatories today are created for other enjoyments but it is the craftsmanship and archictectural design that lends itself as a status symbol. Apropos conservatories come in different sizes and packages and our clients are able to design bespoke conservatories or select an existing lean-to style. Whatever you choose we are here to help every step of the way.
All the glass that we use in our designs are thermally inspected and meet all glass standards for rooms. To order you free brochure click here, or view our extensive portfolio.
