Case Study - Replacement Conservatory
Our clients were moving back into their home after several years away and a replacement conservatory was required. Having previously dealt with Apropos on other projects, they contacted us again to assist them with this new project. They were keen to re-live the continental lifestyle they had experienced abroad and concertina doors were central to achieving this.
Following the roofline of the ground floor projection for part of the way before reversing to a structural box gutter, allowed for a cohesive and yet interesting design solution. Four electric vents with rain sensors and thermostatic controls add to the ease of living. The blue tinted self-cleaning glass adds a different dimension to the structure and creates interest. Easier access to the hot tub can be gained by opening just two doors. Aluminium panels below the box gutter and on the vertical section deal with and hide all the rainwater pipes; the high ridge roofline adds to the sense of space and light.
