replacement conservatoryClient: The occupier of a substantial Period style property in East Anglia. Brief: To design and install a bespoke replacement conservatory to replicate an existing dilapidated timber one. Summary: In this instance our designer visited the Client and ascertained that the requirement was for as close a replication of the existing timber conservatory as possible using the Apropos aluminium system as “maintenance free” were the watchwords. A design was produced which was remarkably close in appearance to the original Victorian structure and which featured Sunergy Glass designed to keep rooms cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The design was accepted and the project commenced at the beginning of December 2005 and was delivered and installed in early March of 2006. The completed conservatory has restored the rear elevation of the property to its former glory with the Client safe in the knowledge that it will not deteriorate in the same way as the original. |
