BUDGET 2011: TAX AND PLANNING REFORM WILL ASSIST GROWTH
APROPOS ENCOURAGED BY GEORGE OSBORNE'S BUDGET
Commenting on today’s Budget Report, David Waxman, Director of Operations at Apropos Tectonic, said:
“George Osborne has presented a budget that will assist growth and encourage companies like Apropos to generate jobs and create wealth.
“We are pleased to hear that corporation tax will be cut and the tax system simplified, but we are particularly encouraged by the proposed reform of planning law, which will remove unnecessary barriers and reduce delays for our customers.
“We accept that certain planning regulations are required, and we do not want a ‘free-for-all’ system that allows unscrupulous companies to take advantage of lax regulations. Nonetheless, parts of the current system are unnecessarily burdensome, and we welcome efforts to streamline the planning process.”
