VOTE APROPOS!
Voting opens for 2011 International Design & Architecture Awards
Apropos is calling on your votes, after the polls opened for the 2011 International Design & Architecture Awards.
The Ashton-under-Lyne based company has been shortlisted in the ‘Glasshouse’ category of the prestigious awards, organised each year by the highly influential design publication Design et al.
The short listing relates to an award-winning, new build project in Cheshire, in which Apropos design engineered, manufactured and installed almost 30 pieces of bespoke glass structure; including folding sliding doors, rooflights, floor-to-ceiling windows, and glazed inserts.
The winners will be announced at the awards’ ceremony in London on the 16th September.
Speaking at the time of the shortlisting, Gary Shaw, Apropos’ regional manager, said, “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious international award. This particular project was particularly challenging for us, as it contained almost 30 separate pieces of bespoke glazing. However, working closely with the architect and the client that challenge was met and the end result is amazing.”
