Points to keep in mind whilst planning your bespoke conservatory
If you are planning to add a bespoke conservatory to your home, then there are a number of things that you will need to consider. Exploring the many types of designs available will enable you to get an idea of what type of conservatory you are planning to have installed.
One of the first things you will need to keep in mind is what size conservatory will be suitable for your home. You will need to think about what you are planning to use your bespoke conservatory for. If you are planning to use it as a kitchen extension, large living room or a family room, then a larger design will best suit your needs.
Think about what shape and features your conservatory will need to make it suitable for its purpose. The shape of your conservatory will need to fit your home and garden suitably, so be sure to check measurements beforehand so that you can be provided with a structure that is just the right size. If you have limited space but still wish to add a conservatory to your home, then you could consider a lean to conservatory, which will enable you to avoid using up too much garden space.
You will need to think about what position your conservatory should be built in. If you are planning to use your conservatory as a sunroom or a greenhouse, then consider having it positioned facing south, as this will enable plenty of access to sunlight. If you wish to use the extra space to create a breakfast room, then consider an east facing conservatory, as this will provide plenty of early morning sun. West facing conservatories are ideal for those wishing to enjoy the afternoon sun and sunsets, whilst north facing conservatories provide much less sunlight throughout the day.
When deciding on the position of your conservatory, keep in mind what extra items you may need to add to your conservatory. For south or west facing conservatories, you may need to install a set of blinds or shutters to provide the right level of sunlight, whilst north facing conservatories may require extra heat due to the lack of sun.
You will need to decide which style of conservatory is best for you. Apropos bespoke conservatories are designed to meet your specific requirements, so whatever shape, style or size you have mind, you can be provided with a structure that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also suits your needs.
You do not need planning permission for having a conservatory installed in England or Wales. However, if you are still in doubt about anything to do with your planned structure, then you can contact your local authority beforehand.
Whatever your plans, an Apropos bespoke conservatory is sure to provide you with the space that you need to create your ideal room. Durable and practical, an Apropos bespoke conservatory will enable you to enjoy your extra living space all year round.
