Case Study - Orangery Extension
To add a new living area to this already substantially extended family home. Early discussions with the planners proved helpful and our first proposal was accepted in full. The neighbours property stood forward of our clients so the design was to ensure privacy. The current width of the property suggested that the new structure should also be wider than its depth.
The gabled roof lantern with solar-control and self-cleaning glass allows plenty of light to filter into the new living area; the concertina doors allow wide open access to the patio and garden. The anti-glare blue tint to the lantern and the gabled design reflecting the house roofline.
