New Developments for Apropos
The top management team at Apropos Tectonic have decided to leave the Hartley Botanic Group and become a completely independent company.
As the leading glass and aluminium structure specialist, Apropos Tectonic is now set to capitalise on its extraordinary growth, which has continued despite the contraction of the market, with exciting plans to triple its turnover within 5 years.
Michael Barnes, the Managing Director is also now the major shareholder. He says This was an opportunity too good to miss. Apropos is uniquely placed at the high end of this niche market. We have the ability to take on projects which others simply do not have the expertise or technology to handle. On top of this our imminent launch of the Atelier Modular Office system, which will break new ground following a two year investment in design work, will be a roaring success!
For now they will remain in their current premises but planned growth organic, new products, increasing their export business (with an emphasis on the USA), using joint ventures and licensing opportunities - means they will need to expand these within the next three years. Because glass and aluminium provide greater flexibility in design than more traditional materials the company is already well known by leading architects and designers, Apropos also has an ever growing base amongst the more design-conscious consumers.
