Case Study - Inverted Conservatory
To replace the current PVC conservatory with a modern regulation compliant glazed extension more suitable to modern family living. Due to the nature of the current design, the natural beauty of the valley was hidden from inside the home. The building style of the property gave rise to difficulties in dealing with large amounts of rainfall and a creative design was required to blend with the dominant hipped dormers.
The solution involved a structural box gutter to the rear of the property, lead lined to the wall. The innovative reverse pitch design got around the issue of drainage and the almost pyramid roof line reflected the hipped nature of the current building. The large sliding doors to the front elevation allows greater and unrestricted access to the terraced patio area.
