Contemporary Conservatory - Apropos Tectonic Case Study

Contemporary conservatory

Client: Based in North Yorkshire in a contemporary property.

Brief: To create a Conservatory link and all glazing to a new build extension as conceived by the clients’ architect.

Summary: We were initially contacted by the clients in February 2002 when they were researching suppliers for their project. In the summer of 2004 an architect was appointed and in early autumn we were approached regarding the provision of a Conservatory plus doors and windows to link a new build extension to the rear of the property; in October we were awarded the contract.

Once the new build element of the project was sufficiently progressed we carried out our detailed site survey and prepared our engineering drawings which were approved by the clients in January of 2005. In February we delivered and installed the structure and glazing.

The result is a striking extension to the property with the Conservatory and complimentary glazing fusing the new build extension to the original property seamlessly.
