Apropos slim down just in time for summer
Leading glass and aluminium structure specialist Apropos Tectonic are launching new slim line, folding sliding doors. Introducing folding sliding doors totally transforms the look and feel of your conservatory, extension, sunroom, pool houses or orangery. They can be added to existing conservatories and extensions as well as being built into your property redevelopment.
Apropos’ current range of folding sliding doors measure 185mm, glass to glass in width. They now have the option of a slimmer folding sliding door system which measures just 111mm, glass to glass in width. The advantage of this slimmer door system is that visually they are sleeker and look more slim line.
The Mark 4 door system can accommodate up to 12 doors in a variety of configurations. The doors can also be configured at a 90 degree angle with a floating corner post to create a opening corner which brightens any room. The maximum height for these doors is currently 3,000mm.
The aluminium doors have a u-value of 1.6 W/m²K. Government regulations state that aluminium doors or windows should not have a 'U'-value higher than 2.2 W/m2K.
Apropos’ Director of manufacturing and installation, Ian Briscall says “The Mark 4 system will enable us to offer our clients a door system which allows more light into the room because there is less aluminium surrounding it. Folding sliding doors is a very competitive market and the Mark 4 puts us ahead of our competitors and allows us to be more innovative with our bespoke structures.”
The folding sliding door system is available from 1st April and is guaranteed for five years.
