“We made our initial enquiry in June. It is now the first week of November and we have our orangery complete with weeks to go before Christmas!

“From the initial design/sales meeting, to construction, to finish, Apropos and their build team have done everything we have asked of them and in so much less time than we thought possible.

“Our property is over 100 years old and our 6 x 3.5metre orangey is a perfect addition. From the outside it complements the older structure with timeless design and from inside the classically styled roof lantern adds another dimension to our living space, with the modern folding glass doors flooding the house with light.

“We have reconfigured our kitchen and dining room into one large open plan space with the orangery connecting to this at the rear. Although a separate project, Apropos have considered and often advised us on everything else we had planned and how best to coordinate its schedule with theirs.

“The Apropos products (roof lantern and doors) are top quality. They are not the cheapest in the market, but you are paying for a genuinely bespoke construction as well as the smallest possible frame system (and therefore largest glass area) you can buy; which really does make a big difference to the finished product. The Apropos orangery is not a run of the mill conservatory. It is a significant part of our internal and external architecture and certainly not a cheap ‘add-on’.
