Conservatories may use "fresh" palettes in 2011
Individuals looking to jazz up their conservatory may be interested to know that "fresh, rich colour palettes" are likely to be this year's hottest trend.
Hannah Barnes of Hannah Barnes Designs said colours such as aubergine and midnight blue are likely to be all the rage in the next 12 months.
For those who are building high-end conservatories with folding sliding doors, this could be particularly interesting.
"Styled storage will be a big trend in 2011, with a slight throwback to retro curves, large handles and slim-legged furniture," Ms Barnes added.
The specialist added rustic textures will mean a departure from some of the styling of previous years.
It means once people have completed the construction of the lean to conservatory, there will be a number of decorating decisions still facing them.
Daniel Drolet, writing in the Ottawa Citizen, recently said bespoke is set to be the buzzword in interior design in 2011.
