English elegance a good look for conservatories?
People who are building a conservatory but are struggling for ideas when it comes to decorating could go for a look that employs English elegance.
This is because Helen Green, author of the Terry's Fabrics interior design blog, noted beige, cream and white can be used to create an "elegant and sophisticated" ambience.
Full length curtains will work particularly well in living rooms and so those who are using a conservatory in this manner may opt for this.
"As a minimalistic approach is central to the style, luxury is brought in by use of beautifully draped fabrics and antique touches for accessories," Ms Green added.
For those who are looking to keep a feeling of English grandeur, dark-stained furniture is a must.
Jaclyn Thorburn, spokeswoman for BuildStore, noted renovations are to continue to be popular due to the fragility of the housing market at the moment, which may see more conservatories built.
