Conservatories 'need airing on mild days'
People with conservatories have been advised to ventilate their extensions on mild days.
According to an article in the Telegraph, doing this can prevent fungal problems from developing.
It means that conservatories will stay in the best condition possible, so individuals can make use of them during the summer months.
This advice is particularly important for those who use their conservatory as an extra living room, as people will not want to be in it if there are issues with fungus.
As well as this, the news provider observed homeowners need to make sure they give proper attention to their gardens.
"Measuring and drawing the garden should clarify plans, view the garden from inside the house and from different angles," it added.
The information outlet commented that shrubs that look out of place or are overgrown should be removed.
Malcolm Pinkerton, senior analyst at Verdict Research, recently noted gardening is becoming a much more popular leisure activity.
