Combine home improvements, Brits told
A construction expert has noted how an increasing number of Brits are improving their own homes, rather than thinking of moving to another property.
According to Andreas Loppas, homeowners should consider combining two improvements into the one project.
Writing for AboutMyArea.co.uk, the Marken Builders expert suggested upgrading the kitchen when adding more space to a home.
Whether this is in the form of a bespoke conservatory or glazed kitchen extension, the kitchen is a vitally important room in any home.
As well as being the centre of life in the house, the room is often the first thing that potential buyers look at when viewing a property.
Mr Loppas advised Brits only to use a reputable company, noting that an extension is a costly addition and should be done right the first time.
"Extensions and kitchens go hand in hand," he wrote. "The possibilities are numerous and are sure to dramatically change and improve the layout and overall feel of the home."
Meanwhile, BBC News has reported how a UK conservatory owner recently spotted a rare butterfly from his glazed extension.
