Daily Mirror: Conservatories great for adding space
A national newspaper has provided homeowners with some tips for improving their property.
According to the Daily Mirror, investing in your house is a smart idea whether you are trying to sell it or simply dream of more space and a comfortable living environment.
It suggested that an extension such as a conservatory can provide a challenge, but is a fantastic way of boosting living space.
The newspaper advised Brits to ensure that both they and the company they employ for the job know exactly what is to be done and how much it will cost prior to work commencing.
"Usually a good quality conservatory or extension will pay for itself when it comes to selling up," the article said.
It added that other parts of the house can be improved by decorating, with kitchens benefiting from stone floors, living rooms from laminate flooring and bathrooms from "cottage-chic wood".
Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph has suggested that using vibrant colours may be the ideal way to brighten up a home.
