Apropos posts record monthly sales
With the UK still getting over the recession, bespoke conservatory, kitchen extension and garden studio firm Apropos has posted record results.
The firm enjoyed a prosperous June, with it recording its first ever month where sales reached more than £1 million.
Sales have increased by 50 per cent since 2009 and are a marker of how well the company has performed since becoming independent.
In that time, Apropos has launched its Atelier and ClearSpan ranges of garden studios and folding sliding doors.
"A number of people questioned our timing when we acquired the business last September but we felt sure we had the strategy and energy to press ahead in spite of the economic backdrop," explained managing director Michael Barnes.
The decision has been vindicated by the recent success and Mr Barnes said he was pleased to report that the business is "growing nicely".
The company's Atelier subsidiary has also recently started incorporating folding sliding doors into its garden studio designs.
