Draw inspiration from famous gardens
Brits who have invested in a garden studio and wish to enhance their green space further have been encouraged to draw inspiration from public gardens.
According to Ronseal, such attractions can provide useful ideas for those who are stuck in a rut in terms of a horticultural muse.
Ronseal garden designer Michelle Wake explained that many people often get into a groove with their outdoor spaces and rarely change their look.
However, a number of sites around the UK can be used as great sources of inspiration.
"They can get out and go to the shows - the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) shows, or to all of the beautiful public gardens," she said.
"England has got some of the most beautiful gardens in the world, so there really is no excuse for lacking in inspiration."
Recent Ronseal research revealed that a large proportion (42 per cent) of homeowners in the UK spend less than £100 each year improving their outdoor space, with many Brits only updating their garden once every five years.
