Make the most of garden foods
With kitchen extensions bringing those who love cooking closer to their garden, Harrod Horticulture has released a new range of kitchenware that is ideal for those who grow their own food.
According to the firm, Brits will find the products perfect for dealing with fruit and vegetables plucked fresh from the garden.
"Summer is the season when kitchen garden harvesting kicks off in earnest and you'll be able to slice, mill, chop and press your produce within seconds of picking thanks to the mandoline, ricer, food mill and salad spinner line-up we've chosen," the company said.
The range also includes five-bladed herb scissors, a hachoir and cutting board set and herb mill.
Those who grow fruit outside their kitchen extension could bring it indoors and make use of the maslin pan, thermometer and funnel that are ideal for producing jams, chutneys and preserves.
According to Harrod Horticulture, Brits should aim to make the most of their garden this summer and enjoy the fruits of their labour outdoors with friends and family.
Weather experts have predicted that 2010 could enjoy one of the hottest summers on record, which could make relaxing in the garden even more appealing.
