South Ayrshire conservatory set for revamp
Plans are in the pipeline for the redevelopment of an historic conservatory in Ayrshire, it has been revealed.
According to About My Area, the conservatory in Belleisle Park is set to be restored to its former glory.
At present, the conservatory is a shadow of its former self, with many of the windows painted over and a jungle of overgrown plant life to be found inside.
However, over the next few weeks the conservatory is to be revamped and improved, with both the interior and exterior set to be given a much-needed spruce-up.
Comments posted on the About My Area suggest readers feel the project is fully worthwhile.
"I am really please to hear that the conservatory is going to be rebuilt," wrote Joanne Oxenham.
"What a waste of a magnificent building - looking forward to seeing more progress on the site."
Belleisle Park is part of the Belleisle Estate, a popular tourist attraction in south Ayrshire complete with a golf course, hotel, picnic areas and 'pets corner'.
