Prince of Darkness hoping for conservatory consent
Ozzy Osbourne may be known as the Prince of Darkness, but he has asked for special permission to allow more light to flood into his English country home.
The Black Sabbath singer has submitted an application to Chiltern District Council for planning permission for the glazed extension at his home in Chalfont St Peter, according to the Buckinghamshire Advertiser.
Now 61, Ozzy may be forgiven for wanting to enjoy his downtime in the peace and tranquillity of his home.
He hopes that the council will grant him special permission for the improvement as his home falls within green belt land.
"The proposed conservatory has been designed in order to have minimal impact on the openness of the green belt and the main house," the application said.
If approved, the new addition would be built onto the rear and side of the main building and be shielded from view by the garage.
Ozzy was a star on his family's reality TV show The Osbournes, which also featured his wife Sharon and kids Jack and Kelly.
