Garden buildings 'add value'
Garden buildings are extremely important to a large proportion of Brits, new research has found.
Cuprinol Sprayable explained that people have deep and meaningful relationships with sheds and garden studios, with one in ten heading to them as soon as they arrive home from work.
The survey also found that three-quarters (77 per cent) of men in the UK own a garden building, while almost four-fifths of those who do not wish they did.
Those considering investing in such a construction could benefit in the long run, with readersheds.co.uk 'head sheddie' Uncle Wilco suggesting that they add value to a home.
"If you have got a great shed, and someone comes along and thinks 'oh I fancy going down to the bottom of my garden and starting up an office' - if it is a big cabin or purpose built office then it will add value," he explained.
The expert added that garden buildings are increasingly being utilised as areas for enjoyment and relaxation away from the main house.
