Conservatory owners could install solar panels
Brits investing in a bespoke conservatory might consider augmenting it with solar panels after hearing the latest comments from an eco expert.
Tim Pullen explained that such an addition makes perfect sense and that those who did not believe so are making a mistake.
Speaking at the Homebuilding and Renovating Show in Birmingham's National Exhibition and Conference Centre, the specialist said "there are no good arguments ... for not having solar panels".
He noted that the financial and ecological benefits of such a move make it well worthwhile and suggested that those who install the panels could reap the rewards of selling excess energy on the open market.
The government is set to introduce feed-in tariffs on April 1st, which may encourage homeowners to install solar technology.
It claims the scheme could see Brits rewarded with up to £900, as well as cutting their own bills by as much as £140 per year.
