Kitchen design tips from Ideal Home Show
Brits considering building a glazed kitchen extension may be interested in the latest comments to come from the Ideal Home Show.
According to home improvements expert George Clarke, it is essential to get kitchen interiors right as they are one of the "most important" areas in any family property.
He suggested that those planning on upgrading should spend as much time as is necessary to design the space properly and get things correct the first time around.
"You have to think about exactly what your family needs so start by listing out all of your requirements," Mr Clarke said.
The expert added that choosing the correct lighting in the kitchen can have a big effect in transforming the room.
Allowing natural light to flow in through skylights or other glazed features is a smart move, Mr Clarke added.
Meanwhile, the Ideal Home Show has displayed the latest trend for kitchen interiors - nude and washed-out pastel shades similar to those currently en-vogue in the fashion world.
