HTA dinner to take place at London conservatory
A London conservatory is set to host an important annual event for the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA).
According to Horticulture Week, the Barbican Centre's famous glazed structure will be the venue for the Garden Futures conference, which will take place on October 12th and 13th.
It will consist of a business dinner in the Barbican's Garden Room and a full-day meeting of industry experts.
Attendees will enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the conservatory, before taking their meal with a view of the Barbican Lakeside and London's renowned landscape.
HTA president Caroline Owen encouraged members to attend the conference, which she said will be integral to the industry's continued success.
"All businesses need to take stock of where their markets are going and Garden Futures will provide updates on the current state of the industry along with invaluable information about future consumer trends," she said.
The Barbican conservatory is home to a number of birds, exotic fish and more than 2,000 species of tropical plants and trees.
