Easter a great time to improve the home
With the Easter break fast approaching, many Brits will be considering putting the time to good use by improving their home.
Whether this is done by having a bespoke conservatory built or simply redecorating with a fresh coat of paint, the spring holidays offer a great chance to revitalise the home in time for summer.
According to Crown Paints, feature walls will be en vogue this year and can give properties a "colourful lease of life and a fresh directional lift".
To achieve the look, homeowners can either paint a full wall in a contrasting colour, utilise a stencil or add an interesting paint design.
The firm has also released a new paint which promises to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating.
Known as earthbalance, the paint offers a similar level of quality, performance and price to the others in the range, but its soft tones are made up of eco-friendly materials to help minimise users' carbon footprint.
Easter Sunday takes place on April 4th this year.
