Holiday home with "conservatory in the sky"
A national newspaper has reviewed a self-catering holiday home in Yorkshire which features a bespoke conservatory on the top floor.
The mill tower is just one of a number of mill conversions on the Leeds to Liverpool canal and the Guardian was impressed by its features.
"On the very top floor (possibly the fifth, I've lost count) we find a conservatory in the sky - a glass-sided belvedere," the article revealed.
Aside from the spacious conservatory-style living room with views over the water, the house also boasts a pool room, 50 and 42-inch plasma TVs with Xbox and a fully equipped kitchen.
Decorations include a range of interesting memorabilia, from boxing equipment and collages made from beer mats to a Brazil football top signed by the legendary Pele, among others.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail has revealed that a conservatory owner in Sussex stood at the window of his home and scared off two burglars that had broken into his glazed extension with a licensed firearm.
