Surrey pub's conservatory dining experience championed
Two large conservatories provide the impressive focus of a major refurbishment project at a pub in Surrey, it was suggested today (February 3rd).
Writing for Surrey Today, Alf de Araujo noted that The Fox Revived in Horley is under new management and can now be regarded as the "focal point of social life in the area".
However, he was particularly enamoured with the inclusion of two large glasshouses, whose "large, bright and airy" qualities added to his experience of the venue.
"Families arriving for Sunday lunch appeared to be making a beeline for the [main] conservatory," he wrote.
"Before long, I noticed that with the eating area around the bar also full, patrons were being ushered into a second, adjoining conservatory which boasted a pretty long dining table in the centre."
Mr De Araujo decided to give the pub four stars for the meal he shared with his wife, which eventually cost £56.35, excluding drinks, and fully recommended the conservatory dining experience.
Horley is a small town located south of Reigate and Redhill, but north of Crawley and Gatwick airport.
