Natural light is a resource that people should use to full effect in their homes, it has been asserted.

In news that may interest those thinking of investing in a bespoke conservatory, chief executive of independent estate agent haart Paul Smith explains that illumination can have a massive impact on the way a property looks and feels.

"Let natural light flood your home. Make sure that curtains are fully drawn," he adds, noting that if curtains and blinds are too heavy or cumbersome then it may be a prudent choice to replace them.

To add a finishing touch to a space, Mr Smith suggests investing in fresh flowers as they appeal to both smell and sight.
